Behavioral Health Care Organization (BHCOE) Accreditation
The center has successfully obtained a three-year accreditation certificate, making it the first organization outside the United States to do so. The organization reviewed several dimensions and aspects related to rehabilitation services quality policies, adherence to the latest evidence-based practices, integration and convergence of services, staff competency and recruitment mechanisms, maintaining confidentiality of information, the extent of family involvement in the treatment program, and the extent of family satisfaction with the services provided.
CARF International Rehabilitation Facilities
The Center of Excellence for Autism has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for a period of three years. CARF evaluated three different rehabilitation programs: the Vocational Skills Training Program (VSP) for adults with autism, the Multidisciplinary Outpatient Medical Rehabilitation Program for Children and Adolescents, and the Occupational Rehabilitation Program for Children and Adolescents. The Center of Excellence for Autism is the ninth center in Riyadh to receive this accreditation and the twentieth in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Qualification in Applied Behavior Analysis (QABA)
At the end of 2021, the Center of Excellence for Autism was the first center in Saudi Arabia (the Gulf) to offer an intensive course that qualifies it to take the QABA Accreditation Board exam with the degree of Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT).
Grete Place To Work
The center has successfully obtained the Great Place to Work® certification, a global organization dedicated to evaluating and rating workplace environments. This certification is a significant achievement for the center, reflecting its continued high regard for improving the work environment and enhancing employee satisfaction.
Silver Category Compliance Certificate accredited by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development
The Center of Excellence for Autism has been awarded the Silver Category Compatibility Certificate by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development for its supportive work environment for people with disabilities. The center has provided all necessary facilities, under the direct sponsorship and supervision of the center's board of directors and executive management, which has contributed to creating a work environment friendly to people with disabilities.

The BHCOE is one of the leading organizations in evaluating the performance of rehabilitation centers that provide behavioral therapy services, specifically the integration of comprehensive rehabilitation services such as speech, language, and occupational therapy, and their adherence to quality standards and evidence-based interventions.

About the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF):

CARF grants international accreditation to rehabilitation centers. It assesses the centers’ compliance with internationally recognized standards for providing high-quality and effective rehabilitation services for people with disabilities, such as autism and similar developmental disorders.

CARF accreditation aims to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery and compliance with internationally recognized standards for programs and services in institutions, striving to meet the needs of beneficiaries and their families while ensuring efficiency, quality, and satisfaction with the services provided.

Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT)

Qualified Autism Service Practitioner-Supervisor (QASP-S)

Qualified Behavior Analyst (QBA)

About Mawaamah:

Mawaamah is a program affiliated with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, launched in implementation of the Kingdom’s strategy for the rights of persons with disabilities. It aims to enable persons with disabilities to obtain suitable employment opportunities and provide them with all the facilities and tools that help them achieve success. It also encourages private sector establishments to provide a work environment conducive to persons with disabilities, according to specific standards and requirements, enabling establishments to obtain the necessary license to employ them.
