Chairman's speech
Under the generous directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him - and the follow-up of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him -, the Kingdom's Vision 2030 was launched with the National Transformation Program 2020 to mark the beginning of a new phase in the Kingdom's journey towards the future.
Our wise government is keen to care for the social development of all citizens in this generous country, in line with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations, which emphasize empowering people with disabilities to reach the highest levels of their independence and social integration, and embodying the spirit of constructive cooperation and social responsibility between the private and public sectors, the idea of establishing the Center of Excellence for Autism in the Kingdom came to bring about a qualitative shift in providing high-level rehabilitation services for children and adults with autism disorder, training families and raising community awareness about this disorder, providing professional development programs for practitioners and conducting and supporting applied research, in addition to providing vocational rehabilitation services and housing solutions for people with autism spectrum disorder Autism.
In continuation of this trend, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development signed an agreement with the Saudi Central Bank to establish this center with generous support from all Saudi banks in the Kingdom to serve as an independent legal entity concerned with the care and development of people with autism spectrum disorder in the Kingdom and to raise the level of services it provides to be a edifice that the Kingdom and the world are proud of. Today, we are proud of the Center of Excellence for Autism with our achievements and qualified national cadres, and we look forward with confidence to a brighter future built by our hands and whose fruits will be reaped by tomorrow's generations.
