1- Multi-disciplinary assessment
It is a comprehensive evaluation, carried out by a group of specialists, and addresses a number of specializations, namely applied behavior analysis, speech and language therapy, and occupational therapy, through conducting a number of evaluation sessions for this purpose. This assessment helps in forming a comprehensive view of the beneficiary’s condition, knowing the difficulties he has, and the goals that must be worked to achieve in order of priority. In the evaluation sessions, a complete history is taken of the beneficiary, and performance is evaluated in communication skills, motor skills, sensory skills, self-reliance, behavior, and social, emotional, and adaptive aspects, which together help determine the beneficiary’s overall clinical condition. Evaluation sessions are provided face to face with the beneficiary. Multidisciplinary evaluation includes interviewing the parents, direct observation, assigning the beneficiary certain tasks, then developing a treatment plan and writing a report.
